About the Role As a Small Provider Billing Unit at Gainwell, you’ll recruit providers for the Small Provider Billing and Training program and educate them on Medi-Cal billing. You will review and correct providers' claims before adjudication and provide telephone support to enrolled providers. A minimum of one year of experience is required. What You'll Do
- Recruit qualified providers to participate in the Small Provider Billing and Training program.
- Instruct providers on how to successfully bill the Medi-Cal program.
- Review and correct provider’s claim before adjudication.
- Provide telephone support to enrolled providers. What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two or more years of customer service.
- Knowledgeable about healthcare billing and medical claim forms, preferably Medi-Cal.
- Experience in providing verbal instructions to customers.
- Experience working with and skilled in Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power. Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Medi-Cal billing processes.
- Prior experience delivering provider training or support calls. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $31,200 - $44,500 per year (USD).
