Job title: Sleep Technologist/ Polysomnographer
About the Role The Polysomnographic Technologist is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) who conducts sleep studies, sleep staging, and technical scoring of sleep events per AASM standards. This role partners with the ambulatory supervisor, manager, and Chief Medical Director to deliver quality diagnostic and therapeutic sleep services in the Sleep Lab.
What You'll Do
- Perform polysomnography, extended EEG, MSLT/MWT, and related testing.
- Apply and titrate oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP; collect and analyze blood gases as needed.
- Provide patient and family education and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Score and stage sleep studies, calibrate and troubleshoot equipment, and assist in mentoring new sleep technicians.
- Support or implement new testing modalities and provide coverage as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Certifications: RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) certification is required.
- Hours: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 7 nights a week.
