Skin Care Specialist

About the Role The Skin Care Specialist supports the development, testing, and implementation of new skin care services and enhancements at Massage Envy under the direction of the Skin Care Services Innovation Manager. As a technical subject matter expert, you will translate service concepts into operational, executable solutions and work with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment with brand standards.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Learning & Development, Project Managers, Operations, and Marketing to support development, implementation, and launch of new services and enhancements while maintaining operational excellence and meeting milestones.
• Develop, maintain, and update service protocols, intake forms, treatment notes, pairing guides, and documentation required for service implementation.
• Provide technical support for new service offerings and serve as SME with knowledge of existing Skin Care services, contraindications, and product pairing across Massage Envy locations.
• Research and resolve questions, translate technical information into clear documentation for varied audiences, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Anticipate operational challenges and partner with cross-functional teams to implement solutions; manage multiple projects with deadlines; communicate risks and proposed resolutions.
• Participate in R&D for Skin Care services and products, oversee in-house testing, and provide feedback to Category Manager; support pilot programs and post-launch enhancements.
• Provide ongoing technical support for existing and new services; support ad-hoc projects as needed; occasional travel up to 15%.

What We're Looking For

• Associate degree or certification from an accredited esthetician program; must be a licensed esthetician.
• Experience in beauty, skin care, dermatology, or related industries; experience developing service protocols or technical documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept through implementation with minimal supervision while balancing multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking, with the ability to anticipate issues, identify risks, and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communications; ability to tailor communications to diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; learn new systems and apply feedback.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, polished deliverables.
• Resourceful, self-motivated, with accountability and ownership for results; receptive to feedback and change.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing needs.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and work in a hybrid setting; travel up to 15%.
• Massage Envy Brand Experience Preferred.
