Job title: Site Technical Trainer

About the Role The Site Technical Trainer leads the execution of the technical training strategy at a specific manufacturing site, acting as the official on-site representative of the Technical Training organization. This role ensures consistent application of the approved training model and pillars, drives site training initiatives autonomously, partners with site leadership, and helps build workforce capability for onboarding and ongoing development.

What You'll Do

  • Lead deployment of the BOE Technical Training pillar at the site and adapt corporate standards to site needs while aligning with regional strategies.
  • Serve as the primary technical training contact for site leadership and operational teams.
  • Deliver structured instructor-led training covering theory and practical hands-on components; translate complex manufacturing concepts into actionable learning; ensure practical application through hands-on activities.
  • Partner with HR and functional managers to support new-hire technical training.
  • Mentor and guide OJT Trainers; conduct periodic reviews of OJT delivery to verify effectiveness.
  • Conduct competency assessments and qualifications; identify skill gaps and drive customized retraining.
  • Manage training assignments and completions in the LMS; maintain records and ensure traceability in the eDMS; collaborate with SMEs to update work instructions and training content.
  • Track training effectiveness and KPIs; drive continuous improvement using training data and operational feedback.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience on the production floor in manufacturing (e.g., technician, operator, mechanic).
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated coaching, mentoring, and knowledge-transfer capabilities.
  • Collaborative mindset with production teams and support functions.
  • Solid knowledge of production equipment; ability to master at least three key pieces of equipment.
  • Experience using LMS for training management; familiarity with eDMS for documentation and compliance.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $66,700 - $93,160 per year.
