Job title: Site Supply Chain Director
About the Role Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic and operational expertise in a cutting-edge field at Alstom Thunder Bay site. You'll define, plan, and execute the full suite of supply chain processes for the Thunder Bay site, including industrial planning, materials planning, and logistics operations. Day-to-day, you'll work with cross-functional teams, lead the implementation of supply chain strategies, and ensure operational excellence. You'll specifically manage the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Master Production Schedule (MPS), while supporting projects to achieve Quality, Cost, and Delivery commitments.
What You'll Do
- Adapt and deploy supply chain strategies in alignment with regional and local goals.
- Implement and manage standards, processes, methods, and tools for supply chain operations.
- Identify site-specific needs and contribute to transversal processes and tools.
- Build and deploy a targeted organizational structure and people development roadmap.
- Ensure compliance with Alstom Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
- Prepare and manage budgets while identifying opportunities for improvement and synergy.
- Drive performance through KPI management and process reviews.
- Provide support to stabilize or mobilize supply chain operations in emerging sites or new business areas.
- Collaborate with regional supply chain, site management, and project committees as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A university degree.
- 10–15 years of experience in an industrial environment.
- 5–10 years of experience managing large teams (unionized and non-unionized).
- 10 years of experience in supply chain management.
- ERP management experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A proven ability to drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of excellence.
Compensation & Benefits
- The expected compensation for this role is CAD 134,560 – CAD 176,610 per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
