Deise Smith Studio is a premium interior design studio delivering high-end residential and commercial projects. We are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Site Supervisor

Location: Wuse, Abuja (FCT)

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: Initial 6 months (Renewable)

Resumption: Immediate

Summary

• The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities across assigned projects, ensuring that work is executed in line with approved designs, quality standards, timelines and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities and project execution.
• Coordinate artisans, contractors, vendors and other site personnel.
• Monitor workmanship, materials and overall quality of work.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and design requirements.
• Monitor project progress and timelines, and promptly escalate delays or site issues.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and relevant project team members on site requirements.
• Monitor materials delivered to site and ensure proper use and handling.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress and issues.
• Identify and resolve routine site challenges while escalating matters requiring management attention.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, safety and orderliness on site.
• Provide regular site updates and reports to the Project Manager.
• Support the successful delivery of multiple assigned interior design/fit-out projects in Abuja.

Requirements

• HND / BSc Degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Interior Design or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in site supervision, preferably within interior design, fit-out or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of interior fit-out and site execution processes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/interior drawings and project specifications.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, finishes and site processes.
• Ability to manage artisans, contractors and vendors effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and provide clear, timely reports to the Project Manager.
• Must be based in Abuja.

What We Offer

• Salary: N200,000 – N280,000 monthly.

• 6-month renewable contract
