Role Overview

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to focus on building, maintaining, and improving the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and Terraform Enterprise. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and platform teams to develop reusable modules and automated cloud services, enabling consistent infrastructure provisioning. This position requires three days onsite per week, supporting the delivery of secure, compliant, and highly available cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Google Cloud Platform infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform Enterprise.

• Contribute to the implementation of scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions.

• Develop reusable Terraform modules and standardized infrastructure patterns to enable consistent, automated resource provisioning.

• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure delivery, ensuring automated testing, validation, and compliance checks.

• Implement policy-as-code and security controls to meet regulatory and enterprise compliance requirements.

• Participate in the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure delivery, including deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate with architecture, security, and engineering teams to ensure secure and resilient cloud configurations.

• Design and implement observability solutions, including metrics, logs, traces, and alerting strategies to reduce alert fatigue.

• Optimize system performance, latency, and resource utilization across cloud environments.

• Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.

• Experience: Four to eight years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or cloud operations, with direct exposure to Google Cloud Platform.

• Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically utilizing Terraform or Terraform Enterprise. Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including version control and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and GCP networking services such as VPCs, IAM, and load balancing.
