Site Reliability Engineer
About this role
Centric Software is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the SRE team and support the Shoppingfeed product. You will collaborate with software developers, infrastructure engineers, security, and QA to ensure reliability, performance, and smooth deployments in our SaaS environment. This role combines hands-on troubleshooting, system tuning, and close partnership with product teams to define and improve reliability, deployment processes, and customer-facing services.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve application-level reliability and performance issues across the request path (nginx -> php-fpm -> application -> database/cache)
- Tune and scale the web-serving layer under production load, including php-fpm pool sizing, nginx timeouts/buffering/upstream keepalives, and capacity planning
