About the Role

Site Quality Control (QC) Manager to develop and implement the quality program, oversee the Contractor QC Plan, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards. This role supports internal quality and safety policy development and supervises QC personnel across multiple construction sites in the Southern United States.

What You'll Do

• Direct the execution of the project-specific approved Contractor QC Plan with exclusive responsibility for administration and inspections of work.

• Be available during normal duty within thirty minutes after notification to meet with the Contracting Officer, or designated representative.

• Responsible for the quality of work and is subject to removal by the Contracting Officer for non-compliance with the quality requirements specified in the Contract.

• Maintain a physical presence at the work site at all times and is the primary individual responsible for all quality control.

• Prepare the minutes of project-specific meetings and provide a copy to the Contracting Officer within two working days after each meeting.

• Attend the Coordination and Mutual Understanding Meeting, perform the three phases of control except for those phases of control designated to be performed by QC Specialists, perform project-specific submittal review and approval, ensure testing is performed and provide QC certifications and documentation required in the Contract.

• Manage and coordinate the three phases of control and documentation performed by the QC Specialists, testing laboratory personnel and any other inspection and testing personnel as may be required by the contract.

• Inspect a project before, during, and after construction to ensure compliance with all safety and quality specifications.

• Maintain a QC plan, create documents and forms to track their findings, and supervise construction work.

• Monitor each active project site daily to ensure full compliance with all safety requirements, and verify that materials and workmanship are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, shop drawings, material submittals and technical specifications.

• Comply with Company policies, rules, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

• Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment.

• Ensure that products and services adhere to quality standards.

• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data.

• Work according to deadlines for the delivery of products/services.

• Eliminate products that are not up to standards and investigate/determine the reasons for product problems.

• What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing Contractor QC programs on construction projects.

• Ability to develop and implement quality programs, SOPs, and related documentation.

• Strong leadership and people-management skills; experience supervising QC personnel and subcontractors.

• Knowledge of construction drawings, shop drawings, submittals, and technical specifications; experience with testing, inspections, and certifications.

• Ability to coordinate with Contracting Officer, site managers, project managers and other stakeholders; excellent communication.

• Willingness to travel and work on U.S. Government/military installation projects; ability to be on-site physically with flexible hours.

• Compliance with safety requirements and applicable laws/regulations.

• Availability to respond within 30 minutes after notification.

• Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: USD 95,000 - 125,000 per year.
