About the Role As ANDRITZ Canada's Site Quality Assurance (QA) lead, you will implement and maintain the Andritz Quality Assurance System across sites in Canada and oversee the welding process to ensure quality in projects from design to installation. What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the Site Quality-Assurance team (recruitment, retention, assignments, training, evaluations).
- Implement and maintain the Andritz QA System on all Canadian sites and manage site welding processes.
- Act as a point of contact for customer quality meetings, support installation kick-offs and design reviews from a quality perspective; manage QA documentation and site lessons learned; review installation manuals from a quality point of view.
- Manage welding procedures bank, assign welding supervisors, audit welding on site, and provide technical support for welding. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience; at least 10 years of experience with minimum 3 years managing a team.
- Experience on construction sites; hydro experience is an asset; knowledge of mechanical measurement devices; ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings; proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD; familiarity with 3D measuring equipment is an asset; on-site safety training.
- Strong communication skills in French and English; willingness to travel to sites for short periods. Nice to Have
