About the Role The Site Procurement Specialist is embedded at a nuclear site to source services and materials and to act as the primary site-level procurement contact. You will coordinate with Supply Chain and other departments to maximize value and ensure compliant, efficient procurement for site operations. What You'll Do
- Plan and execute simple to moderately complex scopes of work to source services and materials for the site.
- Manage RFx processes, pricing analysis, contracting strategies, supplier negotiations, and supplier performance.
- Serve as the site's single point of contact for designated business customers and coordinate with Supply Chain partners to optimize value and efficiency.
- Support supplier management activities including claims and invoice resolution; ensure alignment with site demand planning and external interfaces.
- Interface with Tax, Finance, Risk Management, Safety, HR, Legal, and external suppliers; coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Projects and Production at the site. What We're Looking For
- Basic contracting and purchasing knowledge; ability to acquire services and materials across a site.
- Experience with RFx processes, contracting strategies, and supplier negotiations.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with internal groups (Central Procurement, Category Management, Central Contracting, Engineering, Supplier Diversity) and with site Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and Production.
- Ability to obtain unescorted access to a Nuclear Power Plant and pass a thorough background check.
- US work authorization and willingness to relocate to Killona, LA area (relocation assistance not provided).
- Willingness to work hybrid (minimum 3 days onsite per week) and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
