About the Role SUEZ is offering an onsite role at the Saint Austell site to help deliver environmentally responsible waste management solutions. The role focuses on assisting the public to use the site effectively to maximise material recovery, while maintaining records and supporting health, safety and site compliance. What You'll Do
- Provide excellent customer service and advise members of the public on how to use the site to maximise recovery of materials
- Maintain accurate records for the removal of materials from the site and manage container exchanges to ensure space for segregation and storage
- Keep the site tidy within your areas of responsibility and support health, safety and welfare compliance
- Cooperate with SUEZ and other employees to comply with the site permit, applicable legislation, and SUEZ Policies and Procedures
- Undertake other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the job What We're Looking For
- A good level of customer service and ability to work in a team
- Ideally prior mobile plant use is desirable but full training will be given
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to cover holidays and sick days if required
- Potential to gain qualifications including IOSH health & safety and COTC level 4 (waste industry specific) Nice to Have
- IOSH health & safety and COTC level 4 qualifications (desirable)
- Mobile plant experience is advantageous (if applicable) Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: 40 hours per week at £12.85 per hour
- Location: Menear Rd site, Saint Austell; shift pattern of 5 days on, 2 days off
