Job title: Site Nurse (Occupational Health Nurse)
About the Role Join P&G in Egypt as an Occupational Health Nurse supporting the Cairo Office and 6th of October Plant. The role delivers preventive, curative, and promotive health care, collaborates with Medical Leader and site Occupational Health Physician, and ensures employee well-being, health compliance, and accurate medical records across sites.
What You'll Do
- Provide preventive health care, assist in pre-employment and periodic medical checkups, conduct tests (audiometry, spirometry, etc.) and maintain proper records.
- Lead health promotion, vaccination programs, and health awareness trainings; support rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.
- Coordinate health diagnostic campaigns, ergonomic assessments, monthly workplace inspections, and life-support equipment checks; participate in mock drills and emergency medical planning.
- Work with HS&E, HR, and management to promote health, safety, and well-being; manage sickness absence cases and referrals.
- Provide first aid and basic life support training including AED; train staff on industrial hygiene and safe food handling; prepare training materials and delivery.
- Track and schedule medical testing for critical roles (e.g., forklift drivers) and health surveillance for hazard-exposed employees; manage post-exposure prophylaxis awareness.
- Maintain vaccinations, medical records, and respirator clearance; advise on business travel health; ensure confidentiality and compliance with HSKE and data protection.
- Liaise with site physicians and managers to manage sickness absence cases and appropriate referrals; ensure proper record-keeping and retention.
- Oversee site health risk analysis and health needs analysis; ensure updated knowledge on new medical technologies and policies.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified, licensed nurse per country laws; ability to report to Country Health Systems Leader/Physician or Country HR as fallback.
- Medium to advanced English fluency.
- Occupational Health qualification or willingness to pursue; strongly desired.
- Highest nursing qualification level available in country is an advantage.
- Experience in Occupational Health or related fields; familiarity with Emergency Management, Intensive Care, Ambulance/Paramedic, Pulmonology, Toxicology, Outpatient General Medicine, Health Management, or enterprise environments.
- Ability to operate across a multi-site environment and collaborate with HS&E, HR, and management.
