Site Manager

Site Manager – AMP8 Framework for Yorkshire Water (Leeds) Location: Leeds Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on site operations for Yorkshire Water projects. You'll be the key point of contact on-site, managing daily construction activities and ensuring everything runs safely, smoothly, and to the highest standards. Working collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, and your team, you'll play a vital role in delivering projects that make a real difference to communities.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Site Manager, you'll be working within the AMP8 Framework for Yorkshire Water team, supporting them in delivering construction projects safely and efficiently.

Your day to day will include:

• Managing and coordinating all on-site activities whilst ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Leading daily site operations, supervising staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver works on programme
• Monitoring progress, managing resources, and resolving issues to keep projects on track
• Maintaining site records including daily logs, permits, inspections, and progress reports
• Creating a positive safety culture through site inductions, briefings, and inspections

What are we looking for?

This role of Site Manager is great for you if:

• You have demonstrable leadership experience within the construction industry
• You hold SMSTS certification, CSCS card (Black or equivalent), and First Aid qualification
• You have a strong understanding of construction methods, temporary works, and site management procedures
• You can read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• You hold a Full driving licence and are flexible to travel to project sites
