About the Role Site IT Manager for BorgWarner's TTT Korea operates at Pyongtaek and Chungju to partner with site leadership and regional/global IT teams, guiding IT strategy, governance, and operations for the sites. You will own the local IT/OT ecosystem, drive AI-enabled value, and ensure security and business continuity.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary IT business partner and single point of contact for plant and tech center leadership, ensuring ownership and accountability for all site IT matters.
  • Represent the full scope of enterprise IT services at the site and coordinate with regional/global IT teams to align IT priorities with business needs.
  • Lead the local digital and IT roadmap in alignment with regional roadmaps, enterprise strategies, and global IT governance standards.
  • Provide site leadership with visibility into IT priorities, service performance, risks, and improvement actions through data, dashboards, and AI-enabled insights.
  • Identify practical opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and business value through AI, automation, reporting, and digital solutions.
  • Ensure site-level compliance with global IT governance, architecture principles, policies, and standards.
  • Own site-level execution and governance of IT services and ensure alignment with OT environments (MES, SCADA, plant networks, connectivity, engineering systems, and shop-floor technologies).
  • Ensure IT/OT cybersecurity requirements: asset inventory, network segmentation, vulnerability remediation, identity management, patch hygiene, and change controls; apply zero-trust principles and coordinate with regional/global cybersecurity teams; maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Act as the site champion for AI, digital tools, and technology adoption by coaching plant engineers and operators; lead local adoption of enterprise AI tools (Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Azure AI services) and build prototypes; support change management and responsible AI governance.
  • Manage IT operations and service performance: end-to-end service delivery; escalation point for incidents; coordinate with teams; drive Shift Left; monitor SLA/KPI; ensure compliance and vendor management.
  • Lead IT project & portfolio management: coordinate site IT roadmap and projects; align with PMO standards and enterprise delivery models; provide transparent updates to leadership.
  • Develop talent: lead and develop local IT resources; participate in regional IT communities; foster continuous learning.
  • Manage IT financials: budget, forecast, actuals, cost tracking; ensure cost transparency.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 2 years in a site or hands-on IT leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Hands-on technical skills with enterprise low-code and AI tooling (Power Platform, Copilot Studio, approved Azure AI services), basic scripting (Python, SQL), modern endpoint management, and workflow automation — able to build small prototypes and automations and read code well enough to engage credibly with engineering teams.
  • Working IT/OT depth.
