Job description
- Supervise daily site activities, including civil, structural, and architectural works.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, suppliers, and other project teams.
- Review drawings and specifications, identify discrepancies, and raise technical queries.
- Monitor progress against the programme and report delays or site constraints to the Project Manager.
- Plan daily manpower, material, and equipment requirements.
- Inspect workmanship and coordinate inspections with the consultant and QA/QC team.
- Prepare daily reports, site records, quantity measurements, and material requests.
- Ensure compliance with approved method statements and health and safety procedures.
- Coordinate civil and architectural works with MEP installations.
- Follow up on snagging, corrective works, and project handover.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- 2–5 years of site experience with a general contracting company.
- Practical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage site priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- UAE/GCC experience and a valid UAE driving licence are preferred.
