Site Civil Project Engineer
Dewberry is currently seeking a Site/Civil Project Engineer to serve major public and institutional clients in our Fairfax, Virginia office. This position requires experience in civil design/land development activities including: grading, roadway design, storm water management systems design, water distribution and sanitary sewer design, soil erosion & sediment control and utility design. The selected candidate will become part of a growing team that provides complete, comprehensive site/civil services to a variety of public sector clients.

Responsibilities include preparation and coordination of site/civil design elements, working closely with team members and the Project Manager to contribute to successful project delivery, supervising junior staff and managing project workflows, mentoring others in the use of Civil3D, preparing construction documents (plans and specifications), technical reports, engineering analyses, and cost estimates, executing assigned tasks in accordance with quality control and assurance procedures, and confirming compliance with regulatory requirements and design standards.

A BS Degree in Civil Engineering or proven equal experience, a minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to the design and execution of Civil Infrastructure Projects, a PE license in Virginia, experience in the preparation of graphics, exhibits and Site/Civil Construction Plans, strong technical expertise and capabilities in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Revu, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range: The projected range for this position is $100,000-$143,000 annually in our Fairfax, VA office. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
