Site Civil Engineer
A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to add a Site Civil Engineer for their Denver team!
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical lead for site
- civil/land development projects
- Prepare/oversee site design (grading, drainage,
- stormwater management, utilities, and roadway improvements)
- Lead development of construction documents,
- calculations, and technical exhibits
- Perform/review hydrology and hydraulic analyses
- and stormwater management designs
- Coordinate with internal disciplines,
- subconsultants, and project managers
- Support entitlement/permitting efforts with
- local jurisdictions and reviewing agencies
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Review work prepared by junior engineers and
- provide technical guidance
- Participate in client meetings and assist with
- responding to agency review comments
- Apply/interpret applicable local, state, and
- federal codes and design standards
- Support quality control and consistency across
- project deliverables
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or
- related field
- 5+ years of experience in site civil / land
- development design
- PE License
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Demonstrated experience leading technical
- design tasks and coordinating project teams
- Strong knowledge of grading, drainage,
- utilities, stormwater design, and permitting
- Familiar with local jurisdictional standards
- and permitting processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet
- deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Salary is commensurate with experience.
