About the Role Lead the site-level APSYS and Lean deployment to drive operational excellence at the Kolkata site. You’ll implement and sustain Lean tools (5S, SWIP, line balancing, TOC), advance continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with Alstom’s WoW and APSYS standards. What You'll Do
- Lead the implementation of Lean methodology at the site.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all processes.
- Identify and implement cost optimization and waste control measures.
- Deploy and sustain Lean tools such as 5S, SWIP, Line Balancing, and TOC studies.
- Ensure alignment with Alstom WoW and APSYS standards.
- Provide coaching and training to teams on Lean principles and methodologies. What We're Looking For
- B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, or Production Engineering.
- More than 10 years of experience in a relevant industry, with expertise in Continuous Improvement (TPM/WCM/Lean).
- Strong knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies (5S, SWIP, Line Balancing, TOC).
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with cost optimization and waste control strategies.
- Solid understanding of the Alstom Way of Working (WoW) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have
