SIOP Strategic Planning Analyst

Nove Mesto nad Vahom, Slovakia

Job Description

Purpose of the Role

The Strategic Planning Analyst is a newly created role within the EMEA SI&OP organization, designed to close a critical gap in long-term planning and scenario analysis. This role focuses on the strategic horizon of supply planning - translating market signals, Big Bets, and pipeline opportunities into long-term workload plans, investment business cases, and multi-plant allocation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and prepare data for the Strategic planning process, collecting demand signals and converting them into long-term workload projections.

  • Develop strategic workload allocation plans across multiple EMEA plants, IS projects, ICO business, and NPDI initiatives.

  • Build investment business cases in collaboration with AME, Procurement, and Finance to support capacity expansion or reallocation decisions.

  • Link SI&OP to Procurement by providing strategic volume outlooks that drive long-term purchasing strategies and supplier development.

  • Conduct scenario planning and what-if analyses to evaluate the impact of demand shifts, capacity constraints, or new product introductions on the regional supply network.

  • Participate in Large/Top Projects workstreams, ensuring strategic supply considerations are embedded in project planning from inception.

  • Maintain a weekly cadence with Sales Leadership, AME, and Procurement to capture evolving strategic inputs and align long-term plans.

  • Support Six Sigma projects (Green Belt level) focused on improving strategic planning accuracy and process maturity.

  • Contribute to Kinaxis implementation efforts, particularly in configuring strategic/long-range planning modules.

  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations summarizing strategic supply outlook, risks, and investment recommendations for SI&OP governance forums.

  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in supply chain planning, strategic planning, or operations analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong analytical and modeling skills; experience with scenario planning and what-if analysis.

  • Familiarity with S&OP/SI&OP processes and workload-capacity frameworks.

  • Experience with APS/ERP systems (Kinaxis experience is a plus).

  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or willingness to obtain one.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership.

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.

  • The anticipated salary range for this role Slovakia is between €18 645 to €23 307 gross per and reflects the range applicable in that jurisdiction. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits. Where applicable, a comprehensive overview of the full benefits package and any additional compensation will be provided during the recruitment process in accordance with local legal requirements. Compensation is determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.

  • This role may be performed in multiple jurisdictions. In jurisdictions subject to EU Pay Transparency requirements, a locally applicable salary range applies and will be communicated in accordance with local legal obligations, if not shown in this posting. Salary ranges for other jurisdictions may vary in line with local market conditions and applicable legislation.
