About the Role As a member of BA IEMEA SIOP Operations Demand, Capacity & Inventory Planning Team your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective coordination of demand forecasting, capacity planning, optimizing inventory levels and inventory accuracy, and monitoring processes across verticals and product clusters. What You'll Do
- Maintain the demand planning process and ensure completeness across all verticals and product clusters.
- Oversee capacity planning activities to ensure alignment with demand forecasts and operational capabilities.
- Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to balance inventory levels with customer demand, production capabilities, and financial targets based on the results of the monthly SIOP process.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance and production teams to gather input and insights for demand forecasting and determine optimal inventory levels for finished goods.
- Monitor demand forecast accuracy, identify deviations, and drive corrective actions when necessary.
- Analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Optimize inventory replenishment parameters, such as reorder points and safety stock levels, based on demand variability and service level targets. What We're Looking For
- Academic degree in SCM, Economics, Engineering, Operations, Business or similar qualification.
- Professional experience in Supply chain Planning, E2E SIOP operations.
- Good know-how in SCM tools and methods; familiarity with the supply chain planning area; SAP know-how.
- Fluent English (written and spoken); German language skills (written and spoken) are an advantage.
- High level regarding SCM process understanding; strong customer orientation.
- Solid SAP know-how.
- Openness to work within an international organization/context. Nice to Have
