About the Role Mississippi College is seeking a Simulation Support Specialist for the School of Nursing to oversee the daily operations of the Nursing Skills Center and Simulation Laboratory. This role supports faculty by preparing simulation and skills environments, maintaining equipment and supplies, supervising student workers, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily operations of the Nursing Skills Center and Simulation Laboratory.
- Prepare simulation and skills environments for teaching and practice.
- Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure readiness and safety.
- Supervise student workers and coordinate coverage as needed.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and appropriate documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or another health-related field (preferred).
- If the degree is in nursing, must hold a current, unencumbered Mississippi RN license.
- Minimum of two years of recent hospital experience (preferred).
- CHSE and/or CHSOS preferred.

- Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and/or Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) preferred.
