About the Role Join ASM as a Simulation Intern to contribute to cutting-edge semiconductor engineering projects. You will work alongside industry teams and gain hands-on experience in simulation, DOE studies, and predictive reduced-order modeling. What You'll Do
- Support simulation, DOE studies and predictive reduced-order modeling to accelerate semiconductor engineering analysis.
- Collaborate on on-site projects during a 12-week, part-time internship (January/February 2027 to April/May 2027).
- Work with numerical modeling tools and CFD/multi-physics simulations as part of core engineering projects.
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field.
- Strong background in numerical modeling and simulation.
- Experience with CFD and/or multi-physics simulation tools preferred.
- Familiarity with DOE, data analysis, and scripting (Python, MATLAB, or similar).
- Exposure to or interest in model reduction techniques (e.g., ROMs, surrogate modeling).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- This is a paid internship. The program starts January/February 2027 and runs through April/May 2027 for a total of 12 weeks, on-site and part-time.
