Job Summary

Simulated Health Center Student Assistant will provide support in the Simulated Health Center including simulation suites and the laboratory and will report to the Simulation Manager. This role would include support of Simulated Health Center staff, faculty and administration, and perform general simulation and laboratory duties including monitoring audio and visual equipment, scene setup and takedown, and supply upkeep and maintenance. The Simulated Health Center team is looking for eager students willing to take on a variety of duties.

Currently we are only hiring Nursing Students who have already completed Nursing 206.

Core Duties

• Assist primary faculty/staff with simulation scenario setup and turnover- may require lifting and movement of furniture
• Assist with maintaining and stocking of supplies as needed
• Assist primary faculty/staff in trouble shooting computer equipment
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the Simulated Health Center
• Other relevant duties as assigned

• Ability to function well independently and in a team environment
• Self starter
• Pays close attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to function efficiently in a multitask environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• NRS 206

Physical Requirements

• Occasional moving of simulation equipment and furniture. Scene setup and takedown.
