Job title: Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager
About the Role Canonical is hiring a Silicon Alliance partner manager in Beijing or Shanghai to drive Canonical’s joint initiatives and technical engagements with major semiconductor partners. The Silicon Alliances Team works with the leading semiconductor partners to advance Canonical’s ecosystem and open source software platforms such as Ubuntu in enterprise environments.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage partnerships with semiconductor companies to drive joint technical initiatives and ecosystem engagement.
- Represent Canonical in ecosystem development efforts and coordinate with internal product, engineering, and field teams to align on strategy and execution.
- Collaborate with global teams and participate in in-person strategy and execution sessions (the team meets 2–4 times per year in interesting locations).
What We're Looking For
- Experience building and managing partnerships with semiconductor partners and ecosystem programs.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to operate within a globally distributed team.
- Based in Beijing or Shanghai with willingness to work onsite at the office.
- Familiarity with Canonical, Ubuntu, open source software ecosystems is a plus.
