Job title: Signaling T&C Team Lead
About the Role Join Alstom as the Signaling T&C Team Lead in Eglinton, ON. You’ll lead the integration and execution of Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities for the Urbalis Flo solution, contributing to the safety and efficiency of railway signaling projects. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Installation, V&V, Safety, Quality and Project Management teams to develop and execute T&C procedures and ensure compliance with EHS and railway safety standards.
What You'll Do
- Manage and execute T&C activities related to railway signaling subsystems up to successful handover to customers or warranty teams.
- Lead test activities over railway signaling systems and ensure the T&C process is executed based on approved procedures.
- Ensure all required installation documentation provided by designers and instruction changes (including field modifications – FMI) are adequately recorded, reported, and approved.
- Conduct deep troubleshooting of Urbalis Flo wayside/railway systems and equipment to identify root causes of failures and integration issues, defining containment and sustainable solutions with support from the Test team and Engineering.
- Share findings with Installation, Test & Commissioning, and project management teams.
- Conduct work planning, pre-work safety briefs, post-work debriefs, and escalate matters as required to meet project Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) targets.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or a Technical Degree combined with equivalent years of experience.
- In-depth experience or understanding of Installation, Testing & Commissioning (T&C), or Verification & Validation (V&V) activities for railway signaling projects.
- Strong knowledge of railway signaling subsystems and installation processes for the Urbalis Flo product line.
- Familiarity with interfacing between Design, Installation, and other stakeholders.
- Willingness to work in the field and on night shifts (including weekends) as required to support project milestones.
- Flexibility and availability for short or long missions in different locations and countries.
- Strong leadership skills, with a sense of urgency and priority management.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate challenges.
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.

- Experience with cutting-edge railway signaling technology and the Urbalis Flo product line (preferred).

Compensation & Benefits
- The expected compensation for this role is CAD 80,000 - 100,000 per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
