About the Role Alstom is hiring a full-time Signaling Installation Site Supervisor to join the Taipei Metro, Taipei Circular Line OCS Project in Taiwan. You will work closely with the local signaling installation team, civil partners and subcontractors to ensure signaling equipment and design are executed per drawings, within project timelines and safety requirements. What You'll Do
- Supervise site installation work for TCL1 revamping signaling system
- Implement safety checks before and after during NTH (01:00-04:30) or TH (09:00-18:00) to avoid impact on revenue service; ensure tools and gauges are checked for any new equipment installed in track area
- Install as per Method Statement (MS) and installation procedures per submittal/drawings; complete markups and incorporate changes
- Prepare post-installation checks and self-installation inspections for every equipment installed on the same shift
- Coordinate OCC and station master for brown-field access
- Supervise workers/subcontractors for access to revenue stations, technical rooms and tracks
- Plan ahead for next week’s site work
- Report field progress and raise non-conformities to the Quality team
- Prepare material request forms to warehouse for materials/tools in/out for next shift
- Ensure compliance of installation activities with D&IS Installation and FO processes
- Include EHS requirements and special processes in the MS
- Ensure activities are carried out on schedule with required productivity and quality standards
- Support handover to T&C team / customer
- Contribute to continuous improvement, best practices and REX within the Product Line
- Strictly apply EHS rules by installation workers and subcontractors What We're Looking For
- Engineering diploma (Electronic/Mechanical) or equivalent, or metro SIG/COM/PWR/PSD system experience
- 4+ years of installation experience in metro SIG/COM/PWR/PSD systems; point machine installation experience is an advantage
- Solid experience of signaling equipment installation and signaling system cable laying (advantage)
- Experience and knowledge of cable termination and testing; fiber optic splicing and testing
- Knowledge of railway EHS; revenue service experience is an advantage
- Experience with revamping procedures and metro project processes is an advantage
- Experience with revenue check-in/check-out procedures of metro companies (TRTC, NTMC, etc)
- Quality and EHS-focused, rigorous, team-player
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving and analytical thinking to resolve field deviations
- Strong leadership to manage multiple workers and suppliers
- Chinese speaking and reading is a MUST; Taiwanese Hokkien speaking is a plus Nice to Have
- Taiwanese Hokkien speaking is a plus
