About the Role
- We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Shortlet Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our shortlet properties while actively driving bookings, occupancy, revenue, and excellent guest experiences.
- The ideal candidate must be comfortable with both property operations and sales. You will be responsible for ensuring properties are well managed, generating bookings, converting enquiries, and building relationships that increase revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Guest Experience:
- Manage the daily operations of shortlet properties.
- Coordinate guest check-ins, check-outs, bookings, and enquiries.
- Ensure properties are clean, guest-ready, well maintained, and properly presented.
- Coordinate with cleaners, maintenance personnel, and other service providers.
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor property availability, bookings, and occupancy.
- Maintain accurate property and operational records.
- Ensure company standards and procedures are consistently followed.
Sales & Revenue:

Actively generate and convert leads into shortlet bookings.

Respond promptly to enquiries and follow up with prospective guests.

Develop and maintain relationships with clients, corporate customers, agents, and referral partners.

Promote available properties across relevant platforms and channels.

Monitor occupancy and identify opportunities to increase bookings and revenue.

Meet agreed monthly sales and booking targets.

Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and follow up consistently.

Prepare regular sales and revenue performance reports.

Identify opportunities for repeat bookings, referrals, and upselling.

Requirements
- 2 – 3 years of experience in shortlet management, hospitality, property management, sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience in customer service and sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to generate leads and convert enquiries into bookings.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple properties, tasks, and priorities.
- Target-driven, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Proficiency with basic office, booking, and property management tools is an advantage.
Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / month.
