About the Role Shopify runs several developmental programs to help people break into tech or advance their careers, including the Dev Degree Program, Internship Program, APM Program, and Design Apprentice Program. These programs combine hands-on work with mentorship and structured learning paths to build skills while you learn or transition into tech. What You'll Do
- Participate in program rotations and work on real projects under mentorship from engineers, product managers, or designers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product improvements and design solutions.
- Develop foundational skills in software engineering, product management, or design, depending on the program.
- Attend learning sessions, trainings, and career development activities relevant to your program. What We're Looking For
- Interest in tech, product management, or design as relevant to the specific program.
- For the Dev Degree Program: desire to earn a computer science degree while working.
- For the Internship Program: students, recent graduates, and those early in their careers.
- For the APM Program: interest in starting a product management career and willingness to develop relevant skills.
- For the Design Apprentice Program: early-career designers, career switchers, or those early in their design careers. Nice to Have
