About the Role The Shop Manager is responsible for overseeing the Amorino store and staff in Zaragoza. This role involves planning and promoting daily staff schedules, interviewing, hiring, coordinating, and disciplining employees, and ensuring the store is stocked, clean, and in proper working order. What You'll Do
- Plan and promote daily staff schedules; interview, hire, coordinate and discipline employees; ensure the store is stocked, clean, and in proper working order.
- Provide training on Amorino Know-how and standard procedures; ensure ongoing training on products, promotions and policies.
- Supervise and coordinate duties and daily tasks among team members; ensure correct portions, presentation, and quality of customer service, store maintenance and sanitation.
- Manage invoices, costs and payroll-related administrative tasks; maintain supplier contacts in the absence of the store owner; assist in budgeting.
- Monitor KPIs to drive sales, profitability and cost management; oversee inventory and stock turnover; coordinate weekly frozen and dry goods inventories and orders.
- Supervise cash management; maintain records for product traceability, cleaning, machinery maintenance and general store cleanliness.
- Manage posters and signs per Amorino guidelines; ensure proper store signage and presentation.
- Track gelato servings per employee using the scale to ensure balanced turnover. What We're Looking For

- Ability to train, supervise and motivate staff; excellent team coordination.
- Strong organizational skills: inventory management, budgeting, cash handling and KPI tracking.
- Attention to hygiene, sanitation and store maintenance standards.
- Ability to work onsite in Zaragoza.
