About the Role Amorino is seeking a bi-lingual Shop Assistant Manager/retail associate to join our Paris (Quai de Valmy) location. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, supporting gelato and beverage preparation, and maintaining high-quality store operations.
What You'll Do
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers
- Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about gelato, coffee, desserts, and related products
- Perform setup, cleanup, stocking, and handling of food items
- Maintain high quality store operations and a clean, inviting environment
- Hand-craft gelato flowers and prepare specialty Italian coffee and other beverages in a fast-paced setting
What We're Looking For
- Bi-lingual (English and French) with excellent communication
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Customer service focused and solution oriented
- Fast learner, agile, capable of hand-crafting gelato
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and co-workers
- Ability to work flexible schedules based on store needs
Nice to Have
- Experience in gelato/food service preferred
- Passion for artisanal products and vegan options (sorbets)
