About the Role Amorino is seeking a Shop Assistant Manager in Nîmes to oversee daily store operations, lead a fast-paced team, and deliver exceptional customer service. The role combines hands-on gelato and Italian coffee preparation with high-quality service to create a welcoming guest experience. Bilingual communication and a passion for quality foods and beverages are a plus.
What You'll Do
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers who walk through our doors
- Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about gelato, coffee, dessert preparation and products
- Perform setup, cleanup, stock work and handling of food items
- Maintain high quality store operations
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma, or equivalent (preferred)
- Customer service focused and solution oriented
- Need to be a fast learner, agile, and quick at hand-crafting gelato
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and co-workers
- Ability to work flexible schedules based on store needs
Nice to Have
- Bi-lingual (English/French) preferred
- Experience with gelato hand-crafting and/or Italian coffee service is a plus
