About the Role Amorino is seeking a Shop Assistant Manager for our London – Queensway store to deliver exceptional customer service and help maintain high-quality store operations in a fast-paced gelato and beverage environment. The role combines guest service, product knowledge, and hands-on preparation of gelato, coffee, and desserts. What You'll Do
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers who walk through our doors
- Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about gelato, coffee, dessert preparation and products
- Perform setup, cleanup, stock work and handling of food items
- Maintain high quality store operations
- Enthusiastically hand-craft gelato flowers, specialty Italian coffee and other beverages
- Work in a fun, fast-paced environment
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and co-workers
- Be flexible with schedules based on store needs What We're Looking For
- High school diploma, or equivalent (preferred)
- Customer service focused and solution oriented
- Fast learner, agile, and quick at hand-crafting gelato
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and co-workers
- Ability to work flexible schedules based on store needs
- Bi-lingual (two languages) is a plus Nice to Have
- Experience as a barista or in a gelato/coffee environment is a plus
- Bi-lingual capability (if not already implied) is a plus
