Description

• The Narmco Group is an industry leader in the automotive industry for metal stamping and assembly. As a result of continuously growing our professional team, we have a challenging career opportunity for a Shipping Supervisor. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for all shipments to our customers on a daily basis and the maintenance of product inventory.

• Wages = $24.00 to $27.00/hr

• We are recruiting for a vacant position

• Job Responsibilities

• Ensure all ASNs are sent within the customer’s required timeframe

• Ensure all product is loaded onto trucks within designated customer window

• Responsible for all load sheets and labelling of shipments

• Supervise departmental employees and outside transport drivers

• Responsible to maintain an accurate inventory through cycle counts, etc

• Manage yard activities and maintain container management information into OEM and internal computer systems and portals.

• Yard organization and control

• Ensure all containers are stored in pre-designated areas for easy count, retrieval, and organizational controls

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a shipping warehouse environment. Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Demonstrated experience must contain strong organizational, communication, administrative and time management skills.
• Successful candidates must demonstrate strong computer literacy; including experience with all office applications with an emphasis on word processing, spreadsheet applications, internet communications and project tracking.
