About the Role Shipping & Receiving Technician in Indianapolis, IN, supports production by reading PMI/JSA and schedules, ensuring on-time shipments and accurate inventory while upholding safety and quality standards. What You'll Do
- Read, understand, and use PMI's, JSA's, and production schedules to accomplish daily production tasks.
- Support and participate in safety initiatives/policies as business needs arise.
- Ensure customer shipments are filled on time and in the correct quantities based on PO requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing basic math and keeping an organized workspace.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks on-time while meeting safety and quality requirements.
- Perform shipping and receiving steps in computer systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Oracle and Wavefront.
- Have basic knowledge and understanding of forklift trucks and associated material handling equipment. What We're Looking For
- A High School diploma / GED is required.
- Ability to read, comprehend and understand work instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to operate forklift, electric hoist, scales, and label machines.
- Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, occasional stooping, crouching, climbing and capable of lifting 40 lbs.
- Ability to wear a full face or half face respirator.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite are preferred. Nice to Have
