About the Role Volt is hiring a Shipping Lead Assembler for a company in Aliso Viejo, CA. The role focuses on managing outbound shipments, preparing and packaging orders for domestic and international shipping, coordinating freight, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety and quality standards. This onsite role works with the Shipping Lead and team to meet daily goals in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Process daily outbound shipments accurately and on time
- Prepare and package orders for domestic and international shipping
- Coordinate freight shipments and ensure proper documentation
- Verify order details, quantities, and shipping labels for accuracy
- Maintain organized shipping areas and follow company procedures
- Work closely with the Shipping Lead and team to meet daily goals
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Previous shipping experience, including freight and international shipments
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- High energy with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Team player with good communication skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of computers
Nice to Have
- Prior assembly experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday; occasionally overtime on Saturday
- Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
