About the Role The Shipping & Export Controller will liaise with nominated shipping lines and ensure correct export documentation management for all contracts. This role supports Oceana Group's global fishing operations and requires strong coordination of cargo bookings, documentation, and client communication to ensure timely shipments.
What You'll Do
- Liaise with nominated shipping lines and book cargo
- Execute planned loading of export contracts with service providers
- Issue and instruct clearing agents; draft and verify export documentation, forwarding drafts to customers for final approval
- Submit LC/CAD documents to banks as per KPI requirements
- Maintain continuous professional communication with international clients on contract and shipment status
- Monitor delivery and return status of containers
