Shipping Clerk
Our client is a national known company. Lots of opportunity for advancement. Located on the north east side of Des Moines.
Starting Pay: $18.75 / Hour
Hours: 10:30AM-7PM Monday-Friday (Alternating Saturdays Nov/Dec-March/April).

Duties

Processes customers’ orders; troubleshoots orders and resolves discrepancies as needed.
Coordinate and update warehouse employees regarding new and modified customer orders.
Review shipping and receiving reports to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
Provides exceptional customer service to incoming callers, customers and carriers.
Proactively communicates with customers, employees and the management team to ensure necessary requirements are met.
Processes, audits and files various documentation.
Assist other employees in the performance of their assigned duties when necessary.

Requirements

Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, strong tenure required
Must possess at least 1 year of warehouse experience, candidates with 2-3 years will be prioritized
Candidates must have hands on experience working with BOLs and other shipping documents
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Must be willing to cross train in warehouse with inventory department.
