Responsibilities:
- Prepare, package, label, and process outgoing shipments in accordance with company and carrier requirements.
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, delivery receipts, and related records.
- Enter and maintain shipment information in warehouse management and tracking systems.
- Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Schedule carrier pickups and monitor shipping timelines and delivery needs.
- Communicate shipment status, delays, documentation needs, and other shipping-related issues.
- Use Excel and Outlook to maintain logs, communicate updates, and coordinate shipping schedules.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or a related environment.
- Proficient in data entry, Excel, Outlook, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Working knowledge of shipping procedures, inventory practices, and general warehouse operations.
- Strong basic math skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and carriers by phone.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, organize, and schedule multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
