Yoh is looking for a Shipping Associate to join our biotech manufacturing client in Pleasanton, CA.

This is a great opportunity for someone with approximately 1–2 years of order picking, fulfillment, warehouse, or related experience who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Prior biotech or pharmaceutical experience is not required.

Candidates with experience picking customer or warehouse orders in manufacturing, distribution, retail fulfillment, e-commerce, or similar environments are encouraged to apply.

Location: Pleasanton, CA Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with availability for overtime as needed Compensation: $22–$26/hour DOE Type: 6-month contract

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare materials and orders accurately for internal and external customers
• Use RF scanners or similar handheld devices to locate, scan, and confirm materials
• Receive, inspect, count, label, and put away incoming materials
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and material records
• Assist with packing ambient and temperature-sensitive materials as needed
• Process basic inventory transactions in the company ERP/WMS system
• Support cycle counts and general warehouse activities
• Help maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area
• Work collaboratively with the shipping, production, and warehouse teams

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Approximately 1–2 years of order picking, fulfillment, warehouse, shipping, or similar experience

• Hands-on experience using an RF scanner, handheld scanner, or similar order-picking system preferred

• Experience with Oracle or another ERP/WMS system is a plus, but not required

• Biotech, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required

• Strong attendance, reliability, and attention to detail

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently once trained

• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and performing normal warehouse material-handling activities

• Willingness to work overtime or occasional weekends when business needs require

• Comfortable working for periods of time in cold-room/freezer environments when required

• Experience with dry ice or temperature-sensitive shipping is a plus, but not required.
