Job title: Shift Team Leader (Production)
About the Role Join Clariant as a Shift Team Leader for the Huizhou site. You will oversee a production shift, train new operators, ensure SOP compliance, safety, and on-time completion of production tasks.
What You'll Do
- Train and evaluate new operators for the shift.
- Manage production tasks within the shift according to production instructions, schedule personnel, and ensure tasks are completed smoothly.
- Check and supervise adherence to process procedures and SOPs during production.
- Check and supervise the team's logging of production records and related auxiliary records.
- Conduct daily inspections of workshop equipment to maintain stable operation.
- Ensure safety production within the shift; identify issues, report, and take effective measures; organize team-level safety training.
- Ensure all relevant information within scope is accurately recorded and tracked and promptly report to the shift supervisor.
- Develop frontline operators and ensure staff receive appropriate job training.
- Confirm and sign on-site work permits and special operation permits.
- Monitor and maintain the shift's 5S area.
- Handle emergencies and equipment failures.
- Be willing to take on other similar tasks as assigned and comply with company rules.
- When the shift supervisor is absent, perform the duties of the shift supervisor to lead the team to complete production tasks.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or higher in chemical-related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience; able to read basic English.
