About the Role The Shift Supervisor will work closely with the Shift Manager, stepping in when the Shift Manager is unavailable to keep the shift running smoothly and drive progress toward delivering exceptional service at the best cost. Based at our UK Distribution Centre in Raunds (near Wellingborough, Northamptonshire), the role operates a monthly rotating 3-shift pattern across 5 out of 7 days. What You'll Do
- Lead and deploy a team of Warehouse Operatives and Agency staff, monitor performance, and swiftly address issues to maintain high standards.
- Provide 360 constructive feedback to Warehouse Operatives, creating a supportive environment where the team can grow and excel.
- Ensure efficient and timely fulfilment of orders across all channels, utilising the Shift Planner to stay on top of priorities.
- Oversee the flawless dispatch of completed orders—On Time, In Full, every time. What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a comparable role, with a solid grasp of end-to-end warehouse processes. Ideally in a 3PL or retail brand DC environment.
- A pro at staying organised, able to prioritise, multitask, and manage multiple tasks with confidence.
- Quick thinker and proactive problem solver who embraces change.
