About the Role Shift Engineer – Production / Shift Engineer – Roller Production at SKF, based in Bavla, Ahmedabad. The role reports to the Channel Group Manager and is an Individual Contributor focused on supporting and driving improvements in day-to-day factory operations by optimizing Man, Machine, Material and Method to deliver performance in terms of SQDCWE. What You'll Do
- Manage production deliveries schedule, channel efficiency improvement activities, shift management, resource allocation and manning.
- Monitor cycle time optimization and bottleneck machine performance to improve overall efficiency (OEE).
- Conduct audits and certifications; drive the deployment of SKF Production System (SPS) and stay updated with SPS tools.
- Support the team in developing new standards and facilitate improvement projects to conclusion.
