Job title: Shift Electrician
About the Role As a shift electrician, you will be part of our maintenance team at Ball's Fosie facility in Malmö, supporting plant production and achieving targets. You will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operations across the production line.
What You'll Do
- Install and maintain industrial process equipment for can production.
- Troubleshoot, adjust and repair all electrical equipment, components, sensors and complex timing and inspection devices.
- Perform preventive maintenance on assigned electrical systems.
- Identify inefficiencies and potential electrical problems and coordinate with the supervisor to resolve them.
- Diagnose causes of faults and remedy them.
- Ensure efficient operation of equipment through proper line control programming and proactively suggest methods to improve line performance.
- Install and troubleshoot plant power distribution and lighting services.
- Demonstrate the ability to connect, assemble and lay out electrical/electronic systems in an organized and professional manner in line with Ball's management system specifications.
- Update wiring diagrams.
- Initiate, review and follow all standard procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant education and experience in electrical engineering.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Problem-solving ability and accuracy.
- Fluency in Swedish (spoken and written) and basic English.
Nice to Have
- PLC logic controllers experience is meritorious.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: from 30,000 SEK gross per month. Final salary will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal fairness and market factors; depending on these factors the actual offer may be above or below the stated range.
