About this role

Share Stories, Smiles & Special Moments – Aged Care Visitor (Waratah)

Could you spare an hour each week or fortnight to brighten someone's day?

We're looking for a friendly and caring volunteer to spend time with a lovely older lady living in our Aged Care Home in Waratah. Your visits could include sharing a cuppa and a chat, reminiscing over family photo albums, listening to treasured stories, swapping a few jokes, or enjoying a gentle wheelchair stroll through the gardens.

She also loves having her nails painted and appreciates the simple joy of good company.

  • Build a meaningful friendship
  • Bring joy and companionship to someone's week
  • Share stories, laughter, and special moments
  • Enjoy the simple pleasures that make life brighter

A little of your time could make a big difference. If you enjoy connecting with others and creating meaningful moments, we'd love to hear from you.

Volunteer today and help turn ordinary days into something special.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
