Service Technician SR
The Department of Services is responsible for ensuring the proper operation of our clients' wind farms, guaranteeing the best performance of each turbine during its useful life. The role is to ensure that turbines operate at their maximum capacity, delivering the best energy production, with a key team to maintain our client's loyalty over the long term. The service technician uses their skills and training to perform and maintain wind turbines. They will follow schedules and specific procedures, including safety protocol, turbine services and/or installation processes and other detailed verbal or written instructions.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily work demands based on on-site work lists and schedules for all service technicians.
- Understand each scope of work, read and validate and deliver the work instructions.
- Assist supervisors and be responsible for checking the availability of all tools and parts required before the actual workday, while conducting periodic safety checks on equipment and tools that work synergistically with the Scheduler and the Stockeeper.
- Inform the supervisor of the daily field tasks.
- Document and convey client requirements or requests to the site supervisor.
- Actively participate in awareness and requirements of Quality, SMS and Environment.
- Participate in the team daily briefing sessions, as well as compliance with local safety protocols.
- Lead Junior and Full Technicians in Preventive, CMS Inspection, Damper Inspection, Generator Alignment, Yaw Gear Replacement, Stuffing Box and Troubleshooting activities in general.
- Direct support to the site leader in the daily routine.
Qualifications
- Training in Technical Course in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar courses.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an industrial mechanical or electrical environment.
- Possess leadership skills.
- Knowledge and ability in Problem-Solving Tools and Decision-Making.
- Knowledge in Quality Tools.
- Possess a driver's license.
