About the Role Nilfisk is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Technician to join our workshop in Arndell Park. This hands-on role involves assembling, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Nilfisk equipment in a well-organised workshop, with occasional field visits.
What You'll Do
- Assemble and test new equipment prior to delivery.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and maintenance on Nilfisk equipment in the workshop.
- Dismantle, repair, reassemble, and test machines to Nilfisk standards.
- Manage workshop parts, including receiving, storing, and allocating items to the correct job.
- Assist with dispatch, receiving goods, and customer drop-offs when required.
- Communicate with customers and provide clear updates about their equipment.
- Complete digital job documentation accurately, including labour hours and parts used.
- From time to time, customer site visits may be required to support field-based service technicians.
What We're Looking For
- A relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience in mechanical or automotive servicing.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
- Experience working with mobile equipment, electrical or hydraulic systems.
- Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- High attention to detail, especially with documentation and parts allocation.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital service systems.
- A current unrestricted driver’s licence.
- The ability to safely lift, carry, and manoeuvre heavy equipment following workplace safety standards.
Nice to Have
- Nilfisk equipment experience (preferred).
