About the Role
Johnson Controls is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and rectify defects in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) and control panels onboard ships, and to execute retrofit and commissioning for AFDS and fire extinguishing systems. The role involves performing annual maintenance contracts, troubleshooting software issues, and ensuring compliance with marine safety standards.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and rectify defects in FDAS and control panels onboard ships.
- Execute retrofit and commissioning for AFDS and fire extinguishing systems (CO₂, FM200, Water Mist, Foam).
- Perform annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for AFDS and fire extinguishing systems.
- Troubleshoot software issues within control panels, including program upload/download.
- Interpret manuals, P&ID diagrams, and electrical drawings for troubleshooting.
