About the Role The Service Technician will diagnose and rectify defects in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) and control panels onboard ships, and will execute retrofit, commissioning, and maintenance activities for AFDS and fire extinguishing systems. The role requires hands-on field service across Indian ports, ensuring marine safety standards and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and rectify defects in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) and control panels onboard ships.
- Execute retrofit and commissioning activities for AFDS and fire extinguishing systems (CO₂, FM200, Water Mist, Foam).
- Perform annual maintenance contracts (AMC) for AFDS and fire extinguishing systems.
- Troubleshoot software issues within control panels, including program upload/download.
