About the Role Service & Stores Operative to coordinate and support field personnel in performing safe and profitable servicing and maintenance of wind turbine equipment, offshore on a service vessel, with a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule. You will support short-term, long-term and strategic operational planning across CVOW. What You'll Do
- Raise, schedule and allocate both planned and unplanned maintenance activities with Siemens Gamesa field staff and customer personnel via Enterprise-Resource-Planning System; create daily/weekly work plans for site teams as required.
- Maintain efficient timescales for planned maintenance activities; create daily and weekly plans for site teams in conjunction with Senior Technician.
- Report service schedule progress to Site Manager and Customer; monitor weather and coordinate transportation.
- Plan workload including port operation and control relevant documentation.
- Check progress with field personnel daily and plan for the next day.
- Coordinate record keeping and documentation archiving to support full historical traceability of service work carried out.
- Ensure accurate reporting into and utilization of MORS and QSYS database and other electronic workflow status spreadsheets.
- Provide data in support of the monthly reporting process in conjunction with the Site Manager.
- Maintain service and minor retrofits schedule tracking for management information.
- Basic financial administration: raising purchase requisitions, setting up new vendors.
- If needed, prepare manning plan and coordinate technicians for work and cover for Senior Technician. What We're Looking For
- Experience within operational delivery at a site level, ideally in an offshore environment.
- Track record of supporting delivery and assisting operational leaders with developing and delivering.
